Yes. The 200-metre deck is a flat, sealed walk with no steps, there are toilets, a kiosk and cafes at the foot, and a shallow swimming beach alongside. Tommies are a forgiving target on light gear (squid would be, but they are closed in the gulf). Just keep children back from the unrailed edges, since the deck sits high over cold, deep water.
