Yanchep Lagoon is arguably one of the most productive shore fishing spots in the Perth metro area. The lagoon is protected by an outer reef that creates a natural fish trap — bait schools up in the calm water, tailor and whiting patrol the reefy edges, and the whole setup fishes like a country spot that happens to be 30 minutes from the CBD.
