Quinns Rocks is a rocky stretch of coastline between Mindarie and Two Rocks where reef and rock platforms extend from the shore. The rocks create structure that holds bait and predators in close, and the area gets less fishing pressure than spots further south because of the drive. There's an active local fishing club, which tells you the fishing is worth the trip.

Fish the wash zone over the rocks at dawn and dusk — cast metals into the white water and retrieve through the transition zone. The rock edges and channels between reef sections are prime ambush points for tailor and herring. For a less snaggy option, fish the sandy pockets between reef with bait rigs for whiting.

West-facing rock platforms fully exposed to incoming SW swell. Fishes well in swell up to about 1.5–2m on the lower platforms; above that the productive low rocks wash and the spot becomes unsafe. Easterly mornings are calmest; afternoon Fremantle Doctor blows directly onshore. The rock structure creates cross-swell that surprises anglers who don't know the spot. Water clarity is generally good outside winter storms.

Wet limestone is slippery — proper rock fishing footwear is essential. Big swell sets can wash anglers off lower platforms; never fish low ledges in heavy swell. Bluebottles drift in during summer northerlies. Sharks transit the area but have not historically affected fishing safety. The remote night-time setting means going with a friend is sensible. Don't fish unfamiliar lower platforms in the dark.

The 35–40 minute drive from central Perth filters out anglers looking for closer options. Active local fishing club regulars know the spot but it's not on the typical metro angler's rotation. Fewer anglers per session means more space and fish.
